The brigh colours are wonderfully contrasting with the dark surroundings, kind of suggesting that she's suffering something she didn't deserve; and the brightness of the model is in contrast with the sad feelings she's displaying, making her look cute rather than unhappy.
What more can I say? The natural surrounding makes the emotions even more strong, powerful, authentic. Just look at it, nothing seems acted, fake or artificial, it's all true and real.
Technically it's perfect. Just the right focus and depth, subtle tones and colours, the most perfect composition you could possibly pull out.
