When I came across this image I had to stop and think a moment. I knew that I liked the image. Then I had to stop and think why. So here we go.
The overall concept is fairly simple. But I think that is what makes it powerful. I have seen many portraits and I know when there is no life in a pose or image. This one feels alive and about to do something. I wonder what will happen next.
The composition is sound. My eye starts at the mass of hair then it works it's way down the arm then back up the angled arm and back to the head. The fabric of the dress does not interfere with this process and is not over powering but still lends life and color. There is just enough skin exposed to be alluring without giving much away. Feminine and sophisticated.
The lighting is well worked. The high lights run across the model in appealing ways without leaving hot spots. I also like the suggestion of the door in the back ground. The red tone make it passionate and still hints at a insanity under the surface. So does the lack of eye contact with the model. That is the only part that I am not certain that I like.
iubesc in primul rand culorile si lumina atat de vibrante si vii. si in al doilea rand, modelul atat de non conformist si sofisticat. o fotografie care vorbeste despre emancipare si feminitate. minunat

All in all a fine composition. Well done!
Just my 2 cents!
