Ms. Natalia Ciobanu is not only an extremely gifted photographer but obviously a very lovely woman. I feel this photograph doesn't serve what I believe to be its most important function: to allow the viewer to see what the subject looks like.

To me, her face is most important. However she is holding her hand up to her face which makes it difficult to see her profile - especially at low resolution. Her hand and parts of her face seem to blend together. Her mascara is beautiful, but her eyes are closed, so all the viewer sees is mascara. This is especially problematic in black and white.

From what we can see, Ms. Ciobanu is a beautiful woman, but the portrait seems to obscure the contours of her face. If Ms. Ciobanu had chosen a darker background and positioned her hand away from her face, this would have been a much better portrait.
