Diptich

The composition of making a diptych half black and white and half color is an unique idea that is hard to pull off. However, Natalia has used it to her advantage and made it work. The models expression is raw and powerful. There is emotion radiating off of both of these, especially the right one. The plan stair way is a good use of location as it does not distract from the model. The model's hair, makeup, and clothes are all well planned as it as the rawness of the photograph. All together, the genius of using a black and white image with color is hard to pull off, but when it is done flawlessly like this it can be beautiful.
